We hope you are all safe and well and being extra kind to each other.
The weather has been so kind to us and we were looking forward to the best Summer Fayre, YoMP and Ladies walk and your support is vital to these events. We will be back for more fun and games as soon as we are able and would like to encourage everyone to attend, volunteer and enjoy.
It’s easy to donate via PayPal. FoMPS and the school appreciate every £1 raised and it all goes to worthwhile and enhancing school and community causes.

To donate £10 add the quantity 2 (ask the children to help by using 2x and 5x tables or addition combinations to reach £26 or an amount of your choice).

A new event this year for Menston Primary and FoMPS is a School Fun Run.
This is to help raise funds for a new pedestrian crossing outside school which is much needed for our village and children. We hope that you can all get behind us and support our events to help us to raise money for the crossing on Main Street. This would entail widening the pavements for some distance and installing a full permanent crossing. We have a target of £10K to raise and we have just over £2k so far that is earmarked for this project from our friends of Co-op initiative.
The fun run is the way we hope to raise the majority of that £8K that we need for the crossing. With the school’s partnership, we intend all pupils to gain sponsorship to run the daily mile track in house colours. Save the date Friday 22 May because all parents and carers are invited to come and cheer on the participants as they run for road safety.
