Please book your tickets here for the upcoming ladies walk. We have a new route this year and your ticket price of £20 includes your dinner. Please meet outside the old co-op at 10.30am on Saturday 18 June, bringing a pack up, and a raincoat or suncream depending on what Yorkshire weather gives us on the day! 2018 was completely glorious weather, 2019 not so much! Can’t wait to walk and chat with you all.

Kat & Rebecca, our route-planners, want to share a few more details about the walk:

Having plotted it in a bit more detail we can confirm it’s approx 11 miles which is about the same as all previous years…

We think we’ll be in otley by lunchtime, and have suggested the Black Horse pub as it’s got a good outside area, however I don’t think it would be wise to suggest everyone can order meals – it’ll be a rather long stop if 50 people all order food at once, I’d suggest packed lunch but stops for beers / snacks if they want.

Stopping points are as follows;

Surprise view; suggest a flask of coffee / tea and some cake to share around for morning cuppa
Otley; black horse for beers / packed lunch.
Clifton; (think we’ll skip the roebuck but we’ll find somewhere for a water stop and a packed snack)
Askwith arms; beers and snacks?
Burley somewhere if people want to stop again.
The Hermit for pizzas and margaritas / whatever you fancy.

Timings are 10.30 start,
6ish finish

bring lots of water, packed Lunch, beer / snack money, suncream, waterproofs!
